ntp broadcast

Syntax

[ no ] ntp broadcast [ version number ] [ pollInterval ]

Command introduced before JUNOSe Release 7.1.0.

Description

Enables NTP broadcast server on a server interface to transmit NTP broadcast packets periodically. You can enable up to 100 NTP broadcast server interfaces. The no version prevents the interface from sending NTP broadcast packets.

Options

number—Integer in the range 1–4; indicates the version of the NTP software on the NTP broadcast server; default value is 3
pollInterval—Integer in the range 4–17; specifies the poll interval in seconds (as a power of 2) for broadcasting NTP messages; default value is 6 (64 seconds)
